Pantone announced its annual pick for “color of the year” of 2020 and it’s a classic — classic blue, that is.
- Otherwise known as Pantone 19-4052, the color was selected for “instilling calm, confidence, and connection, this enduring blue hue highlights our desire for a dependable and stable foundation on which to build as we cross the threshold into a new era,” according to the company.
- Pantone points out that as the world prepares to enter a new decade, feelings of instability make the classic selection a perfect fit.
- The color is also referred to as “timeless” and “enduring.”
