Shogun raises $10 million to make ecommerce a faster, better experience for shoppers

Shogun, the company behind the popular page builder for Shopify, BigCommerce, Salesforce Ecommerce Cloud and Magento has closed a Series A funding round of $10 million and is also starting a new venture to help boost store performance.
Lead by Initialized Capital, the round adds to the $2 million the company has already raised.
VMG Partners and Y Combinator also backed the A series.
The Shogun Page Builder app is used by 11,000 stores.
In addition to this drag and drop page building app, Shogun has also launched Shogun Frontend in early access.
Shogun Fronted is a “headless commerce” solution that lets companies use a popular ecommerce while giving more control over the frontend user experience and optimizing store pages for “instant” page loading, according to the company’s website.
