Nickelodeon Universe opening at N.J. mall

Nickelodeon Universe, which will be the largest indoor theme park in North America, is scheduled to open Oct. 25, 2019.

• Located in East Rutherford, New Jersey, the park is part of the American Dream mall.
• It will have over 35 rides, including a roller coaster with 122-foot drop.
• Characters such as SpongeBob, Dora The Explorer and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles will be available to meet and greet.
• There will also be a “Slime Stage” — of course.
• A general admission ticket sells for $39.99, while an all access ticket goes for $49.99.
• The mall will also feature an NHL-regulation size ice rink.
• In November, a DreamWorks branded water park will open and include more than 40 water slides and 15 other attractions.
