Blue Bell responds to viral video fo woman licking ice cream, returning it to freezer

Blue Bell Creameries says it’s working to identify a woman seen in a viral video opening one of its ice cream containers, licking it and putting it back on the shelf.

Blue Bell says it is working with retailers, social media companies and law enforcement on the matter.

The company also thanked customers for alerting them of the situation.

However, some have called out the company for not sealing its containers better — such as with a tamper-proof seal of some kind since, presumably, someone could eventually purchase the container in question and consume it without seeing the lick mark.
