If you’ve ever binge watched your favorite TV show while sipping wine and crunching on Cheez-Its, you’re apparently a bit of a trendsetter.
Kellogg’s Cheez-It brand has teamed up with winemaker House Wine to offer a creative take on the classic wine and cheese pairing.
Packaged in an oversized box with both brands’ logos on it, the limited time offering will be available online starting July 25, 2019.
It will sell for $25.
Of course, no wine pairing would be complete without tasting notes — and Cheez-It and House Wine note the cabernet sauvignon and merlot grapes blend has a “red currant aroma” with notes of “juicy red fruit.”
The companies say the flavor profile was selected to complement the cheesy taste of Cheez-It, which do contain real cheese.Click here to read the full story »
