Chick-Fil-A says it stopped donating to two anti-LGBTQ orgs, but don’t head out just yet

Chick-Fil-A has said it is no longer funding Christian charities that have a history against opposing same sex marriage and LGBTQ rights — but it’s probably not safe to eat there just yet if you’re looking for food with the hate.

• The restaurant chain said it has completed multiyear “obligations” to the The Salvation Army and the Fellowship of Christian Athletes in 2018 and is no longer contributing to them.
• The company’s company’s current CEO has a record of making anti-LGBTQ statements.
• The company also continues to be closed on Sundays in observance of its Christian beliefs.
• Meanwhile, GLAAD is quick to point out that it’s not immediately clear if the chain has severed ties with organizations such as Focus on the Family, reports CNBC.
• The chain has been the target of massive criticism, backlash and even protests as it tries to expand.
• Some cities and college campuses have attempted to block the chain from opening locations.
