Chili’s drops out of Plenti loyalty and rewards program

Restaurant chain Chili’s has announced it will exit the Plenti, American Express’ multi-merchant loyalty and rewards program:

• Chili’s was the only restaurant partner in the program
• Chili’s joins Macy’s and AT&T in a list of high profile partners to exit the program since it launched in 2015
• Members can continue to earn points at Chili’s through March 15, 2018 and can redeem points through May 3, according to an email sent to Plenti members
• After May 3, the program will continue to operate with the existing partners, which include Exxon Mobil, Rite Aid and select supermarkets.
