“Fox & Friends” welcomed a studio audience to its show Thursday, Jan. 17, 2019 — and passed out Chick-Fil-A food.
- At one point during the show, co-hosts Steve Doocy, Brian Kilmeade and Ainsley Earhardt entered the studio carrying bags from Chick-Fil-A.
- Chick-Fil-A was founded by a devout Southern Baptist and still carries on his rule that the chain not be open on Sundays.
- The chain has also donated money to anti-LGBTQ groups, but did announced it would stop doing so after a 2012 controversy.
- However, the chain still reportedly donates funds to lower profile anti-LGBTQ organizations and is widely boycotted by members of the LGBTQA community.
