Lest you think McDonald’s is sitting out the plant based burger craze — the chain is testing a Beyond Meat offering in Canada.

• Dubbed the “PLT” (plant, lettuce, tomato), the item is being tested in Toronto for 12 weeks.
• Beyond Meat’s stock responded positively to the news.
• McDonald’s had previously partnered with Nestle to offer the Big Vegan TS in Germany.
