Sun Basket stops taking signups temporarily during coronavirus demand

Meal kit company Sun Basket has announced it will start “throttling” sign up as it, like most other meal kit companies, struggles with an overload of demand during the coronavirus pandemic.

The company has instituted a “wait list” feature that lets potential customers sign up, using an email address and postal code, to be alerted when sign ups are available in their area.

In addition, the company is also reporting that most of its menus are selling out quickly and advising customers to make selections as soon as possible.
