Texas Roadhouse CEO dies by suicide after living with ‘unbearable’ post-COVID symptoms

The founder CEO of the Texas Roadhouse restaurant chain died by suicide after he experienced “unbearable” symptoms from COVID-19.
Kent Taylor’s family confirmed his death and cause of death March 21, 2021, and the chain confirmed it via a Facebook post on its official page.
In a statement, Taylor’s family says he had developed severe tinnitus (ringing in the ears) as well as other symptoms after he was infected with COVID-19.
Taylor donated his salary to front restaurant workers from March 2020 to January 2021.
Taylor started Texas Roadhouse in 1993 and it had grown to over 600 locations in 49 states.
