Amazon workers stage strikes, protests on Prime Day

Amazon workers around the world protested their employer even as the company’s “Prime Day” event kicked off.
Workers in the U.S. and Europe are both planning protests or strikes over issues ranging from salaries and working conditions in Amazon’s hundreds of fulfillment centers.
Meanwhile, staffers at a Minnesota warehouse planned a walkout on the first of Amazon’s two Prime Days.
