Shopify launches collabs program to connect merchants to content creators

Shopify is launching a new way for content creators to connect with merchants’ products and promote them via social media.
Dubbed “Shopify Collabs,” the new feature works in tandem with Shopify’s Linkpop link-in-bio tool that launches earlier this year.
Creators can apply for an account and then will be shown suggested products sold by Shopify merchants that might interest their audience. It appears that merchants can opt into the program and payout amounts differ depending on the store as well.
Creators will receive their cuts via PayPal.
