Disney CEO Bob Iger said that the company is considering remaking films such as “Home Alone,” “Night at the Museum,” “Diary of A Wimpy Kid” and “Cheaper By the Dozen” for its streaming service Disney+.
- All four franchises include films originally produced by properties formerly owned by 21st Century Fox but acquired by Disney earlier this year.
- While nothing is final, Iger suggested that the films are being considered to be “reimagined.”
- On social media, fans of the films responded quickly with mostly negative and confused reactions.
