Netflix has announced it’s suspending service in Russia.
A Russian law would have required Netflix to start carrying state owned media channels to subscribers in the country, something that company previously said it would not do.
Netflix has about 1 million subscribers in Russia and has also said it will pause all projections and content acquisitions with ties to the country.
