Is Steve Harvey’s talk show canceled?

In May 2019, Steve Harvey’s syndicated talk show “Steve” announced it would “end.”

• This is essentially a cancellation.
• NBC announced it would remove the show from the schedule in the Fall of 2019 on its owned and operated stations in favor of Kelly Clarkson’s new syndication talk show.
• While NBC’s move was not technically a cancellation, losing time slots in most of the country’s major media markets did not bode well for “Steve.”
• “Steve” replaced “The Steve Harvey Show” that, although they shared the same host, were technically different shows with different formats.
