Apple’s head of scripted programming is exiting the tech giant just two weeks after the company’s Apple TV+ launched to mediocre reviews.
- Kim Rozenfeld has departed Apple, reports The Hollywood Reporter.
- Rozenfeld still has a first look deal with Apple.
- Rozenfeld was one of the first people Apple TV+ chiefs’ Zack Van Amburg and Jamie Erlicht hired after they came over from Sony TV (Rozenfeld was at Sony too).
- The four most prominent Apple Originals, “The Morning Show,” “See,” “Dickinson” and “For All Mankind” will also be around for second seasons, though none of them got rave reviews.
- “The Morning Show” was assured a second season after Apple made a direct to series order for 20 total episodes over two seasons before the debuts.
- However, it’s not clear if Rozenfeld’s departure means the company may be headed in a different direction for its original programming.
