Billy Porter makes Emmy history

Billy Porter has become the first openly gay black man to be nominated for a lead actor in a drama Emmy.

Porter was nominated for his work as Pray Tell on FX’s “Pose.”

The show has been renewed and Porter hinted that his character gets a love interest.
