CBS crew trapped in flooded town — but still gets package on air

CBS News correspondent Meg Oliver and a crew were trapped in the town of Hacienda, California, while in the area to cover the devastating flooding in the region.

• Oliver was able to assemble a full package for “CBS Evening News” on Thursday, Feb. 28, 2019.
• According to CBS, Oliver was the only reporter in the town.
• Oliver and her crew are reported as being safe.
