CBS will air a one night special entitled “Lip Sync to the Rescue” that will feature, like the #LipSyncChallenge, first responders lip syncing to popular music.
Hosted by Cedric the Entertainer, the special will also feature “American Idol” judge and country star Luke Bryan paying a surprise visit to the Saratoga County, N.Y. sheriff’s office to help the team recreate its original video.
The countdown style show will showcase videos from first responders around the country.
Viewers will be able to vote for their favorites, with the winning department getting $100,000 and the runner up getting $50,000 to invest back into their community services.
