CBS Television Stations took out a two page spread ad in Broadcasting & Cable paying tribute to its over 2,700 employees.

The ad features the names of all CBS Television Station employees set in black and blue type and in alphabetical order.

CBS Television Stations is the division that owns and runs local TV stations in major markets throughout the U.S. These stations air the networking programming, just like any other affiliate, but also typically produce their own local newscasts and other shows and the names listed here represent the people who make those shows happen both on camera and behind the scenes.

Also included would be the names from departments such as advertising sales, marketing, management, finance, physical plant and other operations.

The blue names form a background, while the black names form the outline of the CBS eye icon.

It was designed by Bruce Erik Brauer, according to a post from his LinkedIn account.

“The time consuming challenge was to neatly fit the 2700+ team names in alphabetical order,” he notes.
