CNBC announces producer changes on daytime programming

CNBC announced a series of promotions across its daytime programming team.
The changes, announced by vice president of news programming Craig Bengtson, follow the launch of the network’s “The Exchange” as part of the daytime lineup.
Prashant Patel will become executive producer of “Halftime Report.”
“Fast Money” has a new executive producer, Kevin Flynn, who most recently worked on “Worldwide Exchange.”
Katie Kramer and Dave Evans are moving up to senior producer of “Squawk Box,” while Lauren Alperstein and Ben Thompson will have the same role at “Squawk On the Street.”
Kristin Cwalinski is moving from “Fast Money” to “Power Lunch.”
Marc Gilbert will move from “Squawk On the Street” to “Closing Bell,” while Michael Newberg moves up to senior producer.
Heather Gaines moves into the senior producer role at “Mad Money” while Linda Dimyan becomes the show’s senior line producer.
