Buying advertising during CNN’s presidential debate will reportedly require a big buy across the network, reports Variety.
Advertisers wanting to air spots during the two night debate July 30 and 31, 2019, are reportedly being asked to buy packages of at least $300,000.
Spots during the debate itself are reportedly going for around $110,000 for a 30 second spot.
Meanwhile, ads during other CNN programming ranges from $7,000 to $12,000.
Like NBCUniveral, CNN reports it will use “squeezebacks” during the debates — with commercials airing in a large frame with other content surrounding it.
