Paramount Network has canceled longtime staple “Cops” in the wake of the alleged murder of George Floyd.

The network revived the show in 2013 when it was known as Spike TV.

“Cops” originally aired 25 seasons on Fox, where it aired alongside “America’s Most Wanted” for 14 years. It began airing in 1989.

Earlier this month, Paramount announced it would be pulled from the schedule, but now the show has officially been canceled.

Meanwhile, “Live PD” on A&E has been temporarily shelved after Floyd’s death.

“Live PD,” unlike “Cops” follows live police and sheriff activity across the country — though it does air on a time delay and select segments air from tape.
