After ABC show “Dancing with the Stars” casted former White House press secretary Sean Spicer, host Tom Bergeron took to Twitter, claiming Spicer wouldn’t have been his choice.
Bergeron said he had hoped to make “Dancing” an oasis from political controversy and instead allow it to be focused on entertaining its viewers.
He then goes on to note, quite fairly, that the network and producers ultimately have the final say in who gets casted — and they obviously went in another direction.
“We can agree to disagree, as we do now, but ultimately it’s their call. “I’ll leave it to them to answer any further questions about those decisions,” he concluded.
