Donald Trump sends well wishes to the wrong city — ‘Toledo’
By Matt Collins Article may include affiliate links

During a nationally broadcast televised statement, Donald Trump referred to the city of Dayton, Ohio as “Toledo.”
- As Trump was wrapping up his remarks, he said “may God bless those who perished in Toledo.”
- He was referring to a mass shooting that took place in Dayton and El Paso, Texas.
- While it appeared Trump was reading off a teleprompter for much of the statement, it wasn’t immediately clear if the prompter had the wrong city or it was the result of an ad lib.
- He was presumably referring to Toledo, Ohio, a city that’s approximately 150 miles from Dayton.
