ABC News “Good Morning America” meteorologist Ginger Zee has developed a condition, due to her pregnancy, that causes her to be extra sensitive to certain sounds — and took to Twitter to ask if other pregnant women had the same experience.
- In the tweet, Zee notes she also developed the condition, which is technically known as “misophonia,” during previous pregnancies.
- Zee says sounds such as people chewing and gulping beverages are particularly annoying to her.
- Her tweet got a slew of replies from women having similar experiences.
Developed misophonia during my pregnancies (especially with people chewing) and it has not gone away. I can’t even concentrate this morning because all I hear is other people chewing and gulping water and coffee. Do you have this at all?
