Felicity Huffman reports to prison
Former “Desperate Housewives” star Felicity Huffman reported to a federal correctional institution Tuesday to begin a 14-day sentence for her alleged role in a college admissions cheating scandal.
- Huffman is serving time at a facility in Dublin, California.
- Huffman accepted a plea deal that likely significantly shortened her prison time had she plead not guilty, been found guilty and then sentenced.
- Meanwhile, actress Lori Loughlin and her fashion designer husband Mossimo Giannulli, who are also accused in the scandal, refused a plea deal.
- The U.S. attorney assigned to their case, meanwhile, issued a not so subtle warning that pleading guilty could lessen the couple’s jail time if they head to court and are found guilty.
