Forget Wordle, ‘Broadcastle’ is where it’s at

There’s a new option for TV news junkies who love the popular online game Wordle — Broadcastle.
No, it’s not a game about building castles — it’s actually quite similar to Wordle, but instead of trying to figure out the five letter word, you’re going for call letters of news producing TV stations in the top 30 markets.
It’s the brainchild of John Colucci and can be played here.
In some ways, even though there’s only four (or potentially three) letters to get right, the call sign version of the game is harder — mainly because you can’t rely on the norms and patterns of the English language commonly found in the “words.”
For example, call signs such as KYW and WBBM basically go against any rules of English spelling structure.
