Fox Sports has announced it will partner with Stars Group to create “Fox Bet,” a sports gambling app.
- The app is set to launch this fall, according to sources.
- The offering will cover multiple sports and also work within the current laws and regulations surrounding sports gambling and betting.
- Fox has previous experience in the space thanks to a partnership between its former Sky Sports division, which has since been sold to Comcast, and Stars’ U.K. division.
- In addition to gambling, the app will also feature a free-to-play game that will give monetary prizes to players who predict the outcomes of sporting events.
