Houston anchor comes out, announces engagement and move to NYC
After a life of living in “secrets,” KTRK Houston anchor Steven Romo has come out as gay in an Instagram post where he also announced he’s engaged to a forecaster from a former rival station, Stephen Morgan.
Morgan, who had been working at Fox owned KRIV in Houston, recently landed a job at Fox’s streaming weather service in New York City, and the couple is planning to relocate there.
KTRK is owned by ABC, but there’s no immediate word what’s next professionally for Romo.
