How the networks broke in to cover Biden’s press conference

The major U.S. networks interrupted their normal afternoon schedules around 1:25 p.m. eastern to carry President Joe Biden’s first major press conference since taking office 64 days ago.
CNN, MSNBC, Fox, CNBC and other cable outlets also carried coverage, but mostly blended it in with their normal rolling coverage on air at the time.
