Interview subject gets hit by tear gas — while the camera was rolling

BBC journalist Luciani Gomes was interviewing a protested in Chile when the interviewee was hit in the head by a puff of tear gas.

  • She posted the stunning video to Twitter.
  • In the tweet, she notes that “it seemed we (our team) were the actual target,” though she didn’t offer a further explanation.
  • The tear gas was allegedly fired by local police.
