Is this ABC News anchor headed to the peacock?

According to anonymous sources first reported by FTVLive, ABC News anchor Tom Llamas may be leaving the network.
Llamas typically anchors both Saturday and Sunday editions of “ABC World News Tonight” and is also prominently featured on the network’s ABC News Live streaming service on weekdays.
According to FTVLive sources, Llamas is headed to NBC News after the end of the month, but it’s not clear what role he would take on there.
It’s not immediately clear if he has a noncompete or other clause that would require him to take a time out.
An ABC News exec did not return FTVLive’s requests for comment and Llamas’ agent declined to comment on a potential move.
NBC has a streaming news service, NBC News Now, that has been slowly building up its original programming offerings, so it’s possible he could anchor a newscast on that service.
One possibility is a signature evening newscast on the streamer.
NBC News Now currently airs a “Live” branded block starting in the early afternoon and running into the evening but so far hasn’t developed an evening counterpart to its standalone “Morning News Now” newscast.
There also could be an anchor gig on MSNBC as part of the deal or a role on any of NBC’s various franchises — “Today,” “NBC Nightly News” or “Dateline” — or a combination of all of these.
Llamas’ future for bigger roles at ABC could be viewed as somewhat limited — “WNT” anchor David Muir isn’t likely to retire anytime soon and either way execs would likely be reluctant to make any anchor changes to that newscast or “Good Morning America” after the current teams oversaw significant ratings growth over NBC.
