Jose Diaz-Balart interviews his brother, a U.S. rep that has coronavirus

Perhaps not surprisingly, “NBC Nightly News” Saturday and Telemundo anchor Jose Diaz-Balart landed an exclusive interview with his brother, Rep. Mario Diaz-Balart.

The interview aired on the Saturday, March 21, 2020 edition of “Nightly” that was broadcast from Miami.

Mario appeared to have joined via smartphone video call.

Earlier in the week, when the news was first reported, NBC correspondent Tom Costello mixed up the two brothers in a live report.
