As part of its promotional rollout for the Peacock streaming service, NBCUniversal is airing a flurry of promos — and in one “Dateline” correspondent Keith Morrison gets taken down by none other than Liz Lemon.
The promo emphasizes the service’s free tier, which includes access to limited content with non-skippable ads, with clips taken from TV shows and films.
Once of those is Morrison, who is seen on screen in a clip from “Dateline” uttering, in his trademark gravely voice, “somebody’s gotta pay” — only to have Tina Fey’s “30 Rock” character Lemon fire back with “you’re wrong.”
The promo also incorporate numerous other NBC and Universal content, including a shot of “NBC Nightly News” anchor Lester Holt.
