MSNBC has announced it’s overhauling its afternoon lineup and giving one of its big names a streaming show.

Chuck Todd, who moderates “Meet the Press” on NBC each week and anchors “MTP Daily” on MSNBC, will see his 5 p.m. eastern show move to 1 p.m. starting sometime this fall.

“MTP Daily” will take over an “MSNBC Live” branded hour (though the network’s website still lists it as “Velshi & Ruhle” for some reason).

In addition, Todd will also launch an as yet untitled weekly political program that will be available exclusively on streaming platforms NBC News Now and Peacock.

Meanwhile, Nicolle Wallace’sDeadline: White House” will expand to two hours, running from 4 to 6 p.m., filling Todd’s old spot. This will put the second hour up against “The Five” on Fox and “The Situation Room” on CNN.

Both Andrea Mitchell at 1 p.m. and Katy Tur at 2 p.m. will continue to anchor their respective hours on MSNBC.

The expansion of Wallace’s program has been rumored for months — although previous reports indicated “MTP Daily” could move to 9 a.m. after “Morning Joe.”

In reality, the network’s plan turned out to be a bit less extreme of a schedule change for Todd, who was reportedly resistant to moving to mornings.

Todd also was reportedly interested in focusing on “Meet the Press” proper rather than move “MTP Daily” — but the new plan calls for him adding responsibilities.
