MSNBC is rolling out another phase of its weekend programming schedule changes starting Saturday, Sept. 19, 2020.
The changes include the addition of Joshua Johnson’s “The Week” and “American Voices” with Alicia Menendez as well as a new hour of “MSNBC Live” with former “First Look” anchor Yasmin Vossoughian.
Here’s the new lineup with all times listed in eastern.
- 6 to 8 a.m. eastern: “MSNBC Live” with Kendis Gibson and Lindsey Reiser
- 8 to 10 a.m.: “Velshi” with Ali Velshi
- 10 a.m. to noon: “AM Joy” (with rotating hosts after Joy Reid left for weekdays)
- Noon to 3 p.m.: “Weekends with Alex Witt“
- 3 to 5 p.m. “MSNBC Live with Yasmin Vossoughian”
- 5 to 6 p.m.: “PoliticsNation with Al Sharpton“
- 6 to 8 p.m.: “American Voices with Alicia Menendez”
- 8 to 10 p.m. “The Week with Joshua Johnson”
The other portions of the network’s schedule is largely filled with repeats of other MSNBC programming.
Sunday program “Kasie DC” has been canceled with anchor Kasie Hunt continuing as a correspondent for the network as well as hosting “Way Too Early” weekdays on MSNBC.
This also means that the core of Saturday and Sunday programming is the same for the network.
