Nancy Parker’s husband remembers her dedication to job, family

The husband of a veteran New Orleans reporter killed in a plane crash while on assignment for WVUE is remembering his wife.

“My heart is shattered. The dearest and most wonderful person in my life is gone,” the statement from Nancy Parker’s husband Glynn Boyd, begins.

Boyd himself is a former TV journalist and currently works in public information for the Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office.

The couple had three children.
