NBC Chicago forgot to the change the tease graphics for its Wednesday, Feb. 13, 2019 5 p.m. newscast — leaving the show’s title as, well, “Show Title.”
- It’s not uncommon for TV stations to use placeholder text in templated graphics, which is likely why “Show Title” existed in the system.
- However, some stations, to play it safe, put something in the space that, if it makes it on air, isn’t as glaring.
- For example, WMAQ could have opted for something like “NBC Chicago” or “NBC 5 News” as a placeholder instead.
