NBC News Capitol Hill team honored for its reporting on this subject

NBC News‘ Capitol Hill team has been honored with the Joan Barone Award from the Radio and Television Correspondents Association for their reporting on sexual harassment at the Capitol.

It’s hard to describe how proud I am to work with such an amazing team of journalists. Tonight’s #RTCADinner, and getting the 2017 Joan Barone award for our coverage of sexual harassment on Capitol Hill, made for such an amazing night, and every day I’m reminded of how lucky I am to be a part of this team.

Stephanie Ruhle mentioned the honor in the last block of “MSNBC Live” she was solo anchoring — before tossing to Kasie Hunt, one of the honorees, in Washington.

Ruhle, however, ran into a bit of trouble with name of the award.
