‘NBC Nightly News’ planning sixth ‘Across America’ tour

“NBC Nightly News” is reviving its “Across America” tour starting Monday, Nov. 1, 2021.

During the five day trip, Holt will be “taking the pulse of Americans on the highs and lows they are facing almost two years into the global pandemic,” according to NBC.

This is the sixth time the broadcast has embarked on a tour like this.

For this journey, Holt will be in Austin Texas, Nov. 1, St. Louis, Missouri, Washington, D.C., Nashville, Tennessee and Phoenix, Arizona Tuesday, Nov. 2, 2021 through Friday, Nov., 5, 2021.

Stories will focus on real estate markets, school structures, crime rates and political systems the network also plans to highlight residents who are making a difference in their communities.

Plans also call for an exclusive interview to air Wednesday, Nov. 3, 2021, with Gen. Mark Milley in D.C. as part of the Aspen Security Forum.

A special edition of “NBC Nightly News: Kids Edition” is also planned for Nov. 4, 2021.
