NBCUniversal plans cross platform Super Bowl content

NBCUniversal will drive awareness and buzz for Super Bowl LII with extensive week-long, on-site coverage by many of its most high-profile programs and personalities:
- NBC Sports’ coverage of Super Bowl LII, featuring the Philadelphia Eagles and New England Patriots from U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, Minn., begins with the Super Bowl LII Pre-Game Show this Sunday, Feb. 4, at noon Eastern on NBC
- Many of NBCUniversal’s high-profile programs and platforms will feature Super Bowl content or originate from Minneapolis this week, including: Today, The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, NBC Nightly News with Lester Holt, Access, E! News, Squawk Box, Squawk on the Street, Mad Money, Fast Money Halftime Report, Titulares y Mas, The Dan Patrick Show, Top Chef, NHL Live, Pro Football Talk, NBC Sports Radio, and NBC Sports Digital, among others.
- Today and Weekend Today: Beginning this Friday, Feb. 2, Today’s Al Roker and Craig Melvin will anchor the morning program live from Nicollet Mall, NBC and NBC Sports Group’s primary home for studio programing during Super Bowl week, located in downtown Minneapolis; Today’s coverage from Minneapolis continues through game day on February 4
- The Tonight Show: Jimmy Fallon will host a special Super Bowl LII edition of The Tonight Show from the Orpheum Theater in Minneapolis with guests Justin Timberlake, Dwayne Johnson and the cast of “This Is Us”; the Tonight Show will air live Sunday night, following local news telecasts after the game and This is Us
- NBC Nightly News: The show will broadcast live from Minneapolis this Friday, Feb. 2 and Saturday, Feb. 3; Lester Holt anchors from the ground
- CNBC: CNBC’s Squawk Box, Squawk on the Street, Mad Money and Fast Money Halftime Report will all originate from Minneapolis this Friday. Andrew Ross Sorkin will anchor Squawk Box live from 6 a.m. to 9 a.m. eastern; Carl Quintanilla will anchor Squawk on the Street and Squawk Alley from 9 a.m. to Noon ET; Fast Money Halftime Report hosted by Scott Wapner will air live from Noon to 2 p.m. ET; and Jim Cramer will anchor Mad Money from 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m.
- Access: Kit Hoover and Scott Evans will host Access and Access Live from Minneapolis this Thursday and Friday
- E! News: E! News features a star-studded lineup of celebrity interviews at Super Bowl LII, including Jennifer Lopez, Kelly Clarkson, Pink, Justin Timberlake and more; E! News also goes one-on-one with Todd Chrisley and his family for their Super Bowl experience.
- Top Chef: Bravo’s Top Chef series will feature a football tailgate challenge in this week’s episode (Thursday, Feb 1 at 9 p.m.)
- Titulares y Mas: Spanish language Titulares Y Mas will be onsite throughout Super Bowl Week with extensive coverage leading up to Super Bowl day, including segments and reports by the show host Karim Mendiburu and former Arizona Cardinals offensive lineman Rolando Cantu who will be onsite; coverage begins Monday, Jan. 29.
- NBC and NBCSN” NBC and NBCSN will present three Super Bowl-themed special edition shows the week of Super Bowl LII; the annual NFL Honors show will air on NBC on Saturday, Feb. 3, at 9 p.m., following an NFL Honors pre-show at 3:30 p.m. on NBC
- The Dan Patrick Show: NBCSN’s sports television show and syndicated radio program, The Dan Patrick Show, featuring Football Night in America host Dan Patrick and the Danettes, will travel to Minneapolis to present six days of on-site shows; The Dan Patrick Show will originate from a specially-designed set from downtown Minneapolis overlooking U.S. Bank Stadium from Monday through Friday (Jan. 29–Feb. 2), as well as Monday, Feb. 5. The Super Bowl week shows will feature live interviews with current and former players, celebrities, and news makers.
- PFT Live: NBCSN’s PFT Live will hit the road during Super Bowl week, as a many of NBC’s NFL commentators join hosts Mike Florio and Chris Simms on Radio Row at Mall of America to provide insight and analysis on-site in Minneapolis throughout the week leading up to Super Bowl LII; PFT Live will simulcast Monday through Friday (Jan. 29–Feb. 2) from 7-9 a.m.
- NHL Live: NHL Live, NBC Sports Group’s pre- and post-game studio show, will originate live from Nicollet Mall in Minneapolis from Tuesday to Friday (Jan. 30-Feb.2), prior to NHL coverage on NBCSN. Hosts Liam McHugh and Kathryn Tappen will anchor NBCSN’s NHL Live coverage throughout the week, alongside former players and analysts Keith Jones and Jeremy Roenick, and Mike Milbury
- NBCSN will feature four NHL telecasts during the week prior to Super Bowl LII, capped by a matchup between the Vegas Golden Knights and Minnesota Wild from Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul, Minn., on Friday, Feb. 2, at 8 p.m.
- Morning Drive: Golf Channel’s daily news and lifestyle show will feature former NFL linebacker and current CNBC host Dhani Jones as a contributor from Minneapolis during Super Bowl week. Jones will conduct live reports on Morning Drive focused on the latest storylines in anticipation of Super Bowl LII. Morning Drive will air live from 7-9 a.m. on Monday-Wednesday, and from 10 a.m.-12 p.m. Thursday-Sunday.
- NBC Sports Regional NEtworks: Beginning on Sunday, January 28, NBC Sports Philadelphia begins its coverage of Mission LII, with extensive multiplatform coverage of the Philadelphia Eagles. Michael Barkann, Derrick Gunn, Barrett Brooks, Dave Zangaro, Reuben Frank and a host of others will bring the sights and sounds of Super Bowl Week to Philadelphia fans, including press conferences, insider access and expert analysis; Philly Sports Talk and Quick Slants will air live weekdays from Minneapolis, with additional Mission LII programming all week long
- NBC Sports Boston will provide more than 65 hours of Mission: 6 Super Bowl-related multi-platform coverage originating from on-site in Minneapolis. On-location programming will include every one of the networks’ news and opinion shows, plus dedicated Patriots-related programs
- NBC Sports Radio: NBC Sports Radio travels to Minneapolis to provide insight and analysis throughout the week leading up to Super Bowl LII. Programs hitting the road include PFT Live with Mike Florio and Chris Simms, The Dan Patrick Show, Voices of the Game with Newy Scruggs, The Chris Mannix Show, Going Deep with Amani and Dan, The Safety Blitz with Rodney Harrison & Dan Schwartzman, The Leisuremen, and Under Center with Mark Malon; coverage begins Sunday, Jan. 28, with The Leisuremen live from “Radio Row” at 5 p.m.
