Netflix adds cheap mobile only plan in India

Netflix is offering a mobile only plan in India with a cheaper price tag.

Priced about 199 Indian Rupee, or about $3 U.S. per month, the plan is available exclusively on mobile devices in the India market.

While most features and content remain the same on the mobile plan, the new option only includes SD streaming.

Netflix began testing a mobile only service earlier this year — originally priced at 250 Indian Rupee (about $3.60 U.S.) — but dropped the price further when it officially launched.
