Netflix hires chief marketing officer with overseas experience

Netflix has filled its chief marketing officer role.
The company announced it has hired Jackie Lee-Joe, a former BBC Studios exec. She starts in September.
Kelly Bennett announced his retirement from the job earlier this year.
Lee-Joe is an Australian national and her experience at BBC Studios brings a multinational perspective to the job.
Netflix is growing overseas faster than in the U.S.
It also has 88.6 million subscribers internationally compared to 60.2 million in the U.S.
