Nexstar names Washington bureau chief

Mike Viqueira has been named the Washington, D.C. bureau chief for Nexstar’s NewsNation.

Viqueira most recently worked at CBS News in Washington with Norah O’Donnell and “CBS Evening News.” Prior to that he was White House correspondent for the ill-fated Al Jazeera America and spent 15 years at NBC News as a producer, White House correspondent and covered Congress.
