Norah O’Donnell’s ‘CBS Evening News’ debut set to include Jeff Bezos interview

Norah O’Donnell will take over the “CBS Evening News” anchor desk July 15, 2019 with an interview with Amazon founder Jeff Bezos about space exploration.
O’Donnell’s debut broadcast is set to include an interview Bezos and former U.S. Ambassador to Japan Caroline Kennedy about the future of space exploration.
The interview is part of network-wide coverage of the Apollo 11 mission’s 50th anniversary.
O’Donnell will anchor her first broadcast from New York, then move to Kennedy Space Center Tuesday evening.
She is also helming the network’s “Man on the Moon” special Tuesday evening that will include archival footage of Walter Cronkite’s coverage of the moon landing.
