Playboy reporter and CNN analyst Brian Karem has filed a lawsuit against Donald Trump and press secretary Stephanie Grisham after his press pass was suspended.
In the suit, which names Trump and Grisham, Karem says his constitutional right to due process was violated.
Karem had his creds revoked for 30 days stemming from a July incident with former Trump aide Sebastian Gorka.
The White House revoked Karem’s “hard pass” that speeds up his entry to the White House grounds, something afforded to most White House correspondents.
Karem has hired Theodore J. Boutrous, the same attorney who represented CNN’s Jim Acosta after his credentials were suspended in late 2018.
