NBC NewsToday” co-anchor Savannah Guthrie was back in Studio 1A Tuesday, March 31, 2020.

Guthrie has been anchoring “Today” from home since March 18, 2020, after she reported a sore throat and mild cold like symptoms the night before.

That puts Guthrie’s return at 14 days since since those symptoms — the oft cited period that people should remain quarantined after being exposed to the coronavirus. She’s noted on air she did not develop more symptoms in the interim.

Since then, co-anchor Hoda Kotb has been anchoring from Studio 1A by herself — with an increasingly sparse crew.

Guthrie did return to the main anchor desk in the corner of Studio 1A, but remained “socially distanced” from Kotb.

Guthrie and Kotb are slated to host a primetime special on the coronavirus pandemic on the network this evening.

In addition to Guthrie’s return to the studio, March 31’s show also marked the return of the “live from Studio 1A” reference that the network removed March 9, 2020.
