See how NBC’s primetime special from Minneapolis started

NBC News aired a primetime special Thursday, June 4, 2020, under its “America in Crisis” banner that took a closer look at racial injustice following the alleged murder of George Floyd in Minnesota.
“NBC Nightly News” anchor Lester Holt was on the ground in Minneapolis, having also anchored “Nightly” from there as well.
The special includes interviews with social justice figures, celebrities and NBC News correspondents examining race and violence in America today.
To kick off the program, NBC aired an extended open featuring dramatic music, on the scene imagery and the “America in Crisis” logo the network has been using.
